Bid Writer & Content Creator – Glasgow – Full Time Permanent Role

What are the main responsibilities?
* Carrying out research for the kick-off and solution meetings for tenders, and leading the call / meeting to ensure relevant information is captured
* Help with sourcing/identifying new tender opportunities
* Ensuring win themes are developed that meet the client’s objectives for tenders
* Proactively develop and manage a network of subject matter experts, including sourcing relevant information from contacts when required
* Ensure consistent branding for all company specific documents
* Ensuring the production of Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (ESPD’s), Invitation to Tenders (ITTs) and Presentations in accordance with agreed deadlines
* Collating, asking and tracking responses to queries relating to live tenders, including providing timely updates to the wider team when responses are listed.
* Ensuring tender submissions are reviewed and uploaded to the relevant portal in a timely manner
* Fully owning and taking responsibility for tender projects alongside the wider Bid Team
* Write and edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, technical / product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery
* Writing Case Studies and keeping internal Knowledge Bank up to date with relevant tender and accreditation information
* Attending and leading on meetings, as required, with various other teams/departments.
* Proactively gaining testimonials where examples of good work is highlighted
* Proactively identifying areas of tender improvement, presenting to the wider team and implementing if required
* Keep Salesforce portal up to date with tender stages, and tracking win rates
* Creating content for websites and social media presence, YouTube platforms, including weekly blogs and ensuring timely uploads to relevant locations
* Involvement in wider team projects, including supporting with creating content for conferences/webinars
Requirements
What are we looking for?
* Previous experience in writing/developing proposals or other written content would be advantageous, but training and development will be given for graduates.Someone with strong written English language skills and excellent attention to detail in all work
* Must be a self-starter, highly organised, and able to work well with colleagues at all levels in the organisation
* Meticulous proof-reading skills are required for all tasks
* Excellent communication and collaborative working skills
* Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
* Strong time management/prioritization skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks from different sources at once
