ARCA is exclusively partnered with a rapidly scaling, world class battery business seeking to expand its specialist engineering teams by hiring a Battery Performance Engineer / Validation Engineer / Verification Engineer.

The successful candidate will be a strong problem solver. You will be tasked with organising and running the testing and development activities on customer and internal battery programs.
ARCA are looking to speak with experienced test / validation engineers with key experience covering:
- Experience working on high voltage batteries
- Experience working with Lithium cells
- Durability or Validation testing components / systems
- Analysing data as well as processing test / development data into a format suitable to be communicated out to the wider engineering team
- Creating test plans and organising engineering resources
- Writing technical reports to be distributed to the engineering team and customer
- Creating and specifying test equipment
- Undertake simple mathematical calculations to help size and understand testing requirements
- Familiar with material properties of metals and plastics
- Experience with data logging equipment and processing data
- Be able to support design and analysis engineers in researching novel battery technologies
Ideally the Battery Performance Engineer will have a background or strong interest in the following:
- Automotive
- Battery systems
- E-motors
- Fuel cells
- Motors / propulsion systems
- Electronic packaging
