Test and Validation Engineer – Stockport – UK – ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Test and Validation Engineer to join a leading Electronics Manufacturing company in the Stockport area.
As a Test and Validation Engineer you will provide technical and ownership for the verification of advanced products. You will design and implement test systems to demonstrate all functionality and the complex behaviours of the product.
Responsibilities:
This role includes technical decision making and analysis, developing automated test systems using NI and LabVIEW. Test execution and management using IBM rational products.
Understand the product and its detailed design
Definition of design validation test plans to ensure the product complies with the spec
Technical support during the validation process. You will be able to analyse failures to root cause, then design updates to the test system to ensure compliance of product
Requirements
As sound engineering background in a testing environment
Experience of using test tools
Knowledge of who life cycle development
