Bank Chef

CareTech Community Services are one of the leading quality care providers within the region, providing residential care facilities for adults with physical and neuro disabilities, and mental health.

We are looking to recruit a talented and experienced Bank Chef to be based within our fantastic service in Woolwell, Plymouth. So if you’re looking for a new challenge, why not come and work for us.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

* Prepare food ranging from light snacks and refreshments to breakfast and standard meals
* Assist in the smooth running of the kitchen
* Maintain quality hygiene standards within the production areas at all times
* Ensure that meals are prepared on time and to the highest standards
* Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
* Undertake the ordering and supply of food and selected non-consumables required
* Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

Candidates must also:

* Treat the residents with dignity and respect at all times
* Possess impeccable grooming standards and presentation skills
* Have excellent communication skills
* Possess relevant certifications or completion of an apprenticeship.

Candidates will be expected to work 8am – 5pm every other weekend and also additional hours to cover holiday and sickness.

All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS Check and satisfactory references.
