Silva Homes are looking for a HR Generalist with extensive payroll mangement experience to join a small team in a growing not-for-profit organisation.
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
What is the role?
As an Associate HR partner, your role is to help provide a high-quality experience for all colleagues across the business.
You will support the successful delivery of key colleague activities including; recruitment & selection, administration, performance management, learning & development, systems management and payroll. You will also assist with the management of employee relations cases.
You will also support work on developing and promoting our desired culture and behaviours.
What will you be doing here?
- You will support the Lead HR Partner in understanding the needs of the business and help deliver a high-quality experience for colleagues
- You will support the recruitment and selection process, ensuring that the business is able to effectively recruit and on-board the best new colleagues. This will include supporting managers with selection and assisting with the onboarding process
- You will ensure the update/management of all our HR systems (HRIS, ATS & LMS)
- You will undertake overall colleague administration including; recruitment, contracts of employment, changes to contracts and L & D activities
- You will assist with the management of the overall payroll process
- You will ensure successful management of our colleague benefits package
- You will support the production of data and analysis to support positive performance management
- You will assist, where appropriate, with low-level/early stage employee relations cases (t. This will include those related to disciplinary, grievance and capability (performance & sickness)

Skills and experience
- Ability to build relationships with the business
- Keen interest in employment law and employee relations
- Keen interest in recruitment and selection
- Good IT skills

- Extensive payroll experience

Qualifications and other requirements
- Degree and/or equivalent work exper
