Warehouse Assistant with FLT

Our client creates innovative dispensing and delivery systems for the food and beverage industry around the world. They are part of the world’s leading companies in distribution systems for widely used consumer products.

On their behalf, we are looking to recruit a Warehouse Assistant with Counterbalance and VNA Fork Lift Licences, to work on a temp to perm basis at their site in Leeds.

The purpose of the role will be to control the receipt, despatch and supply of goods in to the warehouse.
The successful applicant will have experience of stock control and stock replenishment, giving them the ability to maintain the stock levels and stock movement in a timely and orderly manner, to meet with internal and external expectations.

You will be responsible for the movement of items requiring a fork lift truck, and will therefore have RTITB or ITTSAR accredited Counterbalance and VNA licences, which have been used and refreshed within the last 3 years.

The pay will be £26,000 for the initial twelve weeks, rising to £7.25 for the successful candidate on completion of the probationary period. For the right candidate, this position will become a permanent role, with excellent benefits including Pension and private medical insurance. Hours of work will be 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, however a flexible approach to working hours is necessary to meet the clients requirements, which may include working 6-2/2-10 shifts, and some weekends.
