Assistant Accountant

Waughson Recruitment are currently on the lookout for an Assistant Accountant to work with a well established accountancy practice based in the city of London.

The successful candidate will have the following;

– 6 months – 2 years experience in practice (MUST HAVE)
– Excellent IT skills including good working knowledge of MS windows and MS – Office
– Experience working with Sage or IRIS
– Accounting knowledge
– Confident in dealing with clients (Telephone and face to face)

Your duties will include;

– Preparing accounts
– Bank Reconciliation
– VAT and Tax
– Preparation of tax computations and tax returns
– Bookkeeping
– Payroll

Whats on offer; £26,000 – £28,800(Depending on experience)

You MUST have experience working with an accountancy practice to be considered for this role as our client are a well established and fast growing accountancy firm who are looking for individuals who have experience in practice.
