Assistant Accountant

Salary: £26,000 – £32,400 per year

A growing accountancy practice, based on the outskirts of Barnsley, have a contractual post for a Assistant Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave for around 12 months, there is a possibility a permanent opportunity will be available after this time.

The role will encompass the following duties:

· Financial reporting

· Fulfilling accounting systems and processes

· Taxation duties

· Preparing accounts

· Auditing

· Corporate finance

· Book keeping

· Business recovery and insolvency

You will have the following skills and experience:

· Level 2 ACCA qualified or similar

· Practice experience minimum of 2 years

· Solid working knowledge of Excel/MS packages

· Experience/background within Accountancy within a Practice environment

The role is offered with the following:

· A salary up to 25k experience depending

· Immediate start

· Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm

· 23 days annual leave

· Pension scheme

· On site car parking
