Assistant Accountant

We are very excited to be working with one of the regions most interesting businesses during a period of change getting ready for further growth. This job will see you reporting to the Management Accountant and supporting the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting with the production of management accounts and board packs
* Bank reconciliations and investigation into outstanding items
* Managing company car details and credit card expenditure
* Managing the fixed asset register
* Adhoc reporting
* Prepayments and Accruals
* Assist with budgeting process
* Verifying and managing overseas expenses
* Continuous improvement focussed – assist in developing processes and reporting to drive efficiencies

You will need to be a confident and naturally inquisitive individual either studying early stages CIMA/ACCA or AAT qualified with a good technical knowledge. In addition you will have excellent communication skills and good knowledge of Ms Excel.
