Assistant Accountant

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

Amazing opportunity for a confident and knowledgeable Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established and growing automotive manufacturer on a Temp to Perm basis. This role will begin as a 12-18 month guaranteed contract with the potential to be retained permanently.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Director, ensuring accuracy in reporting and adding to the business strategy. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work independently, using their initiative to improve office processes alongside daily transactional work.

Assistant Accountant – 12-18m Contract Position Overview

All aspects of Sales and Purchase ledger

Journal Entries

All aspects of Credit Control

Bank reconciliations

Foreign currencies reconciliations and accounts

Cash flow forecasting

Depreciation and Accruals

Aspects of management accounting (dependent on candidate)

You must have a full understanding of Accounts to Trial Balance

Assistant Accountant – 12-18m Contract Position Requirements

Demonstrable experience working with a manufacturing firm

Demonstrable experience working within a Finance office 3+ years

Must have experience using Sage packages

Ideally be AAT qualified

by Experience encouraged to apply

Working Hours: Full Time Role

Monday – Thursday

8 am – 5 pm

Half day Friday
