Asbestos Lab Analyst – East Midlands

Our client is a well-established and fast growing asbestos company offering a variety of asbestos and environmental services to a large portfolio of clients across the UK and they currently have an opportunity for an Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy team/office based in the East Midlands.

Qualifications & Experience:

The successful applicant must be in possession of the P401 asbestos qualification and have previous experience of working within a laboratory environment in the asbestos market.

Responsibilities:

Receiving and logging samples received by the laboratory.

Preparation of samples and carrying out analysis for fibre content.

Reporting analytical findings and completing analysis test sheets as and when required.

Carrying out other laboratory duties as and when required.

Requirements:

Overall, you must be flexible, have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work as part of a team and without close supervision.
