Asbestos Commercial Director – South East

Our client is a well-established and a fast growing company and provides a wide range consultancy, interim and management services to clients, including asbestos and various other services.

Due to current state of the business they are actively seeking for an astute and commercially focused Asbestos Commercial Director to grow their asbestos and compliance division in the South East and would include applications from London, Kent, Essex and the surrounding areas.

The individual must come from a solid asbestos/compliance/ educational/technical/sales/operational/management and commercial background.

Must have a proven track record working within this role and with the asbestos industry – significant experience in identifying business opportunities.

Will be well versed with the industries involved – asbestos and other compliance services.

Purpose of the Role:

To grow and drive their asbestos business further then it is now especially on the managerial side – developing commercial strategy across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the operational side of the business – making vast changes and improvements in order to run the business effectively.

Building their business rapidly – winning new contracts and at the same managing the existing accounts.

Building the team up – operational, commercial and sales.

Improving the company’s system and process in order to acquire new business opportunities.

Building and maintaining excellent rapport with clients from all levels.

Requirements/Attributes:

The successful candidate will be astute, smart, and versatile and have the acumen and drive to take the business to the next level.

Will have excellent communication/people management/organizational and presentational skills.

Must be prepared to travel extensively.
