Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

A renowned asbestos and environmental consultancy that delivers a professional service on a broad range of asbestos disciplines, are eagerly seeking an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to cover a variety of contracts in and around South Wales. Considerations will be made from Neath, Swansea and Cardiff.

Minimum requirements for this role:
– Must possess the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates.
– Have good work ethic and at the same time be flexible
– The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Be well-versed with the Health & Safety pertaining to asbestos,
– Must be flexible and have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Have the relevant experience in asbestos surveying, air-monitoring and within the asbestos arena.

Main Responsibilities:
– Carry out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
– Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on commercial and industrial properties.
– Overseeing contractors on site and ensuring that they comply with the Health and Safety legislation in relation to asbestos.
– Submitting comprehensive reports as and when required.
– Building and maintaining good relationship with clients.
