An exciting requirement for a Agile Software Product Manager / Project Manager has just become live for a world class manufacturer of Microscopy solutions based in Cambridge.

As Software Product Manager your role will be to manage a small development team for specific markets (Process Specific Tools – PST). It is essential you have a working knowledge of software project management, especially using agile and comfortable working in a process driven environment.
This is a very technical role and you will be working alongside many different departments within the company. You role will be to own the PST software products for their full life cycle.
* To manage all software projects within the PST group
* Manage feature/task backlog
* Agree with the development team the content of the regular software sprints and be a part of the project team
* Organise and run daily progress meetings with the development team
* Track development progress, and help with any development blocks if required
* Manage testing and validation of the software
The role will develop into a Product Management role where you will be more responsible for price list ownership. Pre-launch testing and management of user manuals and updates etc.
