Corecom Consulting are on the lookout for a permanent Software Development Manager to deliver world-class, cutting edge solutions within an innovative, market leading, organisation based in Leeds.

The successful Development Manager will be immersed within the software product delivery environment using a range of methodologies, with a specific emphasis on Agile, to deliver Greenfield projects within the agreed time, quality and cost boundaries.

The successful Development Manager will be the driving force behind collaborating with multiple business functions, ranging from the CTO to the test team. Therefore exemplary communication and stakeholder management skills are required.

The Software Development Manager should have the following skill set:

Essential Skills:

Degree level in Computer Science or equivalent.
Vast amount of experience managing software development teams.
Strong understanding of the Agile software development cycle.
Familiar with other software development methodologies.
Experience of performance and line management in a matrix environment.
Able to effectively communicate both written and orally.
Fantastic interpersonal skills.
An understanding of databases.
Strong ability to manage teams.
Experienced with problem solving. Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of web services and standards.
Hands-on coding experience.
A brief understanding of the handling of large data sources.
