My client, a leading manufacturing and engineering company who specialise in the Aerospace industry are currently looking for an experienced Inspector to join their team.
My client designs, engineers and manufactures a broad portfolio of aerospace components on both an MRO and OEM site.

For this role you must be have attended training or is certificated and, is currently an authorised release signatory [Certifying Staff] for an EASA Part 21G and/or Part 145 company, and can provide evidence his/her authorisation

Role
* Visual inspection of components for acceptance or identify defects to the manufacturer’s original design
* Analyse complex aircraft back to birth history to ascertain full traceability, acceptance and correct lifing of parts
* Follow component maintenance manuals, drawings, engineering layout information and additions to the original design such as Service Bulletins, Service Letters and Airworthiness directives
* Create and compose detailed sequence of processes and engineering method statements for repairs of complex components along with the compilation of appropriate quality assurance documentation
* Ability to use a wide and varied range of precision measuring equipment

Regulatory signatories
* A fast track process inside the normal 6 months can be agreed by the regulatory compliance Manager based on historic competencies and evidences outlined below:
* Has worked in aerospace, (preferably landing systems) for a at least 2 years
* Attended Part 21G refresher within a 2 year period
* Has attended training or is certificated for bogus and counterfeit parts training
* Has attended training or is certificated for FOD control
* Has attended training or is certificated for human factors awareness
* Has attended training or is certificated for Flight Safety Management Systems (SMS) awareness
