We are looking for a Quality Engineer for our aerospace client.

They are genuinely an excellent company to work for – forward thinking, Lean manufacturing and plenty of opportunities for advancement.

Candidates with Auditing experience and some Six Sigma very desirable.

We will welcome candidates from the aerospace, automotive and any precision engineering type engineering companies.

The company are based in Rugby and they are part of a worldwide organisation with over 40 manufacturing facilities worldwide.

The position will involve 8D Problem Solving and Process Improvements to record, investigate and disposition internal rejections and technical customer claims using 8D methodology.

Also

Coach other employees in the use of 4D and 8D problem solving techniques

Conduct and analyse SPC, Capability Studies

Lead problem solving and process improvement teams

Report on quality performance through BIS charts and KPI’s

Audits:

Part of the job will be conducting spot checks and participate in internal and external audits in accordance with the Quality Management System.

Close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) arising from internal or external audits.

Provide technical advice and training to the Quality Department
