Location: Remote or Birmingham/London offices
Salary: £840+ day rate – 6 months contract
Reports to: Head of Finance Systems
About the Job
We have been directed by a Global Legal Firm to source an Aderant Solutions Developer to assist the Financial Systems Team in the development and maintenance of the Firm’s financial systems to meet the needs of the Firm.
High Level Focus
* Aderant Billing Transformation Project
* Solution Development
* Liaison with the Technical Services department and external suppliers on maintenance issues.
* Assisting with 2nd line support for the Firm’s financial systems.
Aderant Billing Transformation Project role:
* Expert Billing preparation
* Billing workshops, liaising with Billing team requirements and actions
* Rules / Entity Manager – Migration of existing billing rules
* Expert billing config / testing / customising / liaising with Aderant
* EA Pro & Enquiry
Solution Development
* Extensive T-SQL development skills within SQL Server
* Ability to create SQL solutions to fit the needs of the customer
* Experience with ETL processes and tools
* Customisation of applications using both standard and proprietary toolkits.
* Development of new modules for existing applications using standard and proprietary toolkits.
* Assisting with the documentation of customer requirements.
* Assisting with solution design.
* Assisting with system upgrades.
Skills and Experience Required
* Aderant Expert.
* SQL.
* Programming (using VB, Python, C#).
* Configuration/development of applications (using both visual tools and programming languages).
* Problem solving/ trouble shooting.
* Multi-currency / multi-jurisdictional accounting.
* System testing.
* Sound communication skills (written and oral).
* Accuracy and good attention to detail.
* Sound time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
