The Trainee Consultant / Developer Role:

Field Based so you must be prepared to travel with some working from home

The trainee consultant undertakes a well established learning programme that combines technology and consultancy skills training with mentoring and front line commercial experience to gain proficiency in all aspects of business process applications consulting. They are recognised as a team player within the consulting group by supporting a quality delivery of all assigned projects and are responsible for Designing, developing, delivering, enhancing and supporting SAP Fiori UX solutions.

The successful candidates will have 6 months plus experience of development with JavaScript Framework, HTML5, JQuery and CSS3. The experience can either be commercial experience, project experience at University or development for personal projects.

We would be looking for the successful candidates to take accountability for self- growth and learning and
1. Shadow consultants on projects and when appropriate take on delivery
2. In collaboration with team lead, identify, monitor and progress individual learning
3. Implement a mixture of tactical and strategic solutions by helping to solve business and technical challenges in both single and multi person projects
4. Proactively develop and apply new acquired specialist subject matter expertise in line with the solution.
5. Drive personal and company utilisation.
6. Develop as a specialist within the consulting group by attaining and sharing best practice, knowledge and skills.
7. Develop and maintain an up to date knowledge and zest for the latest business process applications trends and utilises this understanding to challenge and influence our ways of working.

In addition you will:

1. Have a natural flair for programming, developing mobile Apps and Web design. Programming skills in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript a plus together with a basic understanding of database technology/terminology an advantage.
2. Hold a 2:1 degree in a business, IT, computer science, related subject
3. Have work or personal/education experience in a related field – SAP an advantage
4. Be able to demonstrable ability to take early responsibility and drive own success
5. Demonstrate great interpersonal skills together with understanding of how to developing business relationships
6. Must have a full UK driving licence or willingness to travel to client sites

You may have worked in the following capacities:
Trainee IT Solutions Consultant, Junior Solutions Consultant, Graduate Developer, Web App Developer, Trainee SAP Consultant, Frontend Web Developer, UI Developer.
