Accounts Manager

Working as part of a small, dedicated and experienced team the role itself will be required to look after the Accounts to management level and ensure all tasks are completed with accuracy and precision. The role will use Sage line 200, however, previous experience of this system is not essential as full training will be provided. You will be responsible for the production of management accounts and overseeing accounts to trial balance. You will also attend to the sales and purchase ledger and be responsible for the reconciliation of bank accounts, statements and balance sheets. The successful candidate will create reports from Sage 200 and manage the petty cash, HMRC, and the reconciliation of supplier accounts. The role reports directly to the Financial Director and will provide ad-hoc support to this position as and when required. The role will also supervise the more junior members of the team.

Qualifications/Experience
• An AAT qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience within all areas of accounts.
• Flexible and adaptable attitude and willing to learn to work with a new accounting system.
• Previous experience of Sage 200 would be desirable.
• Supervisory or team leader experience.
• Have or are working towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification.
