Accounts Assistant

My client is a highly successful and growing property development business based in the heart of Birmingham city centre. Due to significant growth, they are currently seeking an experienced and talented Assistant Accountant to join their team. Situated in Birmingham’s business district, with easy access to public transport, the position is within commuting distance of most places in the West Midlands.

Ideally you will:

• Have previous experience in an all-round accounts assistant role
• An in depth understanding of sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control and producing accounts up to trial balance
• Have completed or be working towards AAT studies
• A strong work ethic and desire to progress within the business
• A proven track record over achieving above and beyond what is expected of you
• Have strong I.T. skills, in particular, Excel
• Be interested in working in a professional services environment
