Accountant – Part/Time

We are looking for a part time Accountant to carry out the following:
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT calculations
- Print trial balances and review accounts transactions
- Prepare accruals and prepayments
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Year end statutory accounts and liaise with Accountants
- Liaise with HMRC – Tax, VAT, national insurance
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist with monthly annual budgeting and forecasting
The successful candidate will be based at one of our client’s sites in Solihull working as a key part of the accounts team. Being local to this area is advantageous but not essential. You will have young trainees to assist and manage as part of your role
The successful candidate will:
- Be immediately available or within a short timeframe
- Have a recognised accounting qualification or experience
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Have good all round IT and Excel skills
- SAGE & Xero experience would be beneficial
We are flexible in terms of days and hours for the right individual. Idealy, we would like between 3 or 4 days per week, with between 5 – 7 hours per day.
The Clients are fast growing Companies with exciting plans for the future. You will be part of the finance and accounts team and will work closely with the Directors in helping them to achieve their future plans.
