Accountant

Our client is a fast growing technology innovation company offering a variety products and services. Innovation is key to the business development strategy, with new revolutionary software technology planned for launch over the coming months. Newly formed in the summer of 2012 from the amalgamation of several complimentary technology businesses, the company offers its employees the unique mix of a solid financial foundation, with the excitement of a start-up business.

It is now time for them to appoint an Accountant – you will need to be able to work in a small team and be a key driver in moving the business to the next level and the next.

The Chief Executive – a proven entrepreneur – so like him you will be a dynamic and innovative thinker and have exceptional attention to detail. The role reports to the Chief Operations Officer who also has these qualities and attributes.

Your responsibilities will be:

Preparation of monthly and year end accounts
Monthly financial reports with value added analysis for the management team
Cost Control – always improving!
Payroll
Invoicing and Credit Control
VAT
Banking and the banking relationship
Developing and managing financial systems and policies

You will have a small team to support you – so you will be a good leader and developer of people.

You will have an Accounting qualification and a demonstrable track record of developing the businesses you have worked in.
