Accountant – Car Rental Multi-site Company

Working in a fast paced, busy and positive environment this senior management role offers the incumbent real scope and opportunity to develop. With Branches strategically placed along the South M1, the Company are able to link the major cities and Clients together in that area making them a sound and progressive Car Rental company. This is a hands on position and the Management Accountant must be flexible and willing to turn their attention/support to all the financial areas of the Business.

You will be an integral member of the management team and your specific skills will be evidenced by your introduction of innovative and direct ideas that will bring both cost and profit opportunities to the Company. Your understanding of the car rental/sales balance sheet is essential as well as the various tax and vat regimes that exist in the sector. You will have the support of a small team and so your people management skills are important as is training and mentoring the team in your department.

This is a growing concern with plans to expand the Company by increasing the size of the Rental fleet and the branches from which they operate, central to the growth plans is the need for strong and effective financial advice and support.

Salary is negotiable and dependant on skills and experience.
