Our client is a successful educational institution that offers a diverse range of courses to their students. An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an Accountancy Lecturer / Team Leader to join their Business and Professional Studies Department.

As an Accountancy Lecturer / Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering high levels of satisfaction, success and progression to students studying on our client’s business and professional studies courses.

Joining a busy and vibrant department, you’ll work alongside Personal Tutors and Curriculum Managers to ensure that the curriculum is of a high quality and relevant to current industry practices. You’ll arrange prospective learner interviews, lead the course induction for learners and participate in peer observations.

Using a variety of teaching and learning methods, you’ll seek to deliver a high quality learning experience. Additionally, you’ll help to develop the employability skills of your students and ensure that learners are provided with appropriate careers advice.

Your other duties will include:

– Contributing to the development and delivery of educational programmes
– Creating an outstanding student experience that leads to progression and/or employment
– Ensuring course information sheets and handbooks are fully up-to-date
– Compiling and analysing learner data
– Ensuring that effective strategies are in place to retain learners

To be considered for this role, you must:

– Be an ACCA qualified accountant OR hold another relevant accountancy qualification with industry experience
– Have previous lecturing experience

Flexible and adaptable as an Accountancy Lecturer / Team Leader, you must have excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills with an enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.

Experience of using Sage software would be beneficial to your application.
