My client is a well established law firm and they are seeking a Senior Administrator – Team Leader. It is a great opportunity for career focussed and driven individuals.
Previous legal experience would be beneficial but not an essential. Other professional service backgrounds will be considered.
The role is to provide a high level of support and co-ordination to the commercial settlements team by managing the day-to-day activities of the administration team, ensuring that the team meets all of its core targets and training junior team members as appropriate.
Candidates should have experience of :
- Managing an admin function
- Supervision experience
- An understanding of meeting deadlines when providing an admin service to other legal teams
- Monitoring of performance and coaching and mentoring admin assistants.
- Document management/case management system
- Ideally they will have experience of the civil litigation process
- Strong IT skills
- Drive and passion for the role and desire to take the function forward
You must possess the following technical skills:
- Experience of a supervisory/managerial role essential
- Experience of the civil litigation process (particularly the initial stages) beneficial
- Experience of working in a client focused environment essential
- Experience of a document management/case management system essential
- Advanced IT skills covering the full Microsoft Office suite
