Account Manager – Event Management Preferred

Here at Axiom, we are currently seeking an Experienced Account Manager for one of our clients who supply to the hotel and leisure industries based in East London. The ideal candidate will have experience within the hotel industry or within event management.The role will be 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday and will be a 50/50 role, half of your time based in the office and half out of the office visiting clients. The starting salary will be £28,800 and will offer a generous commission structure.

Duties:

• Building relationships with the existing client base and dealing with any enquiries, complaints or changes made.
• Regular visits to existing clients to get an insight into their current needs and keep the relationship strong
• Visiting clients to do stock checks and record information
• Strong attention to detail – ensuring all information is logged efficiently for each clients specific need
• Liaising with clients over the phone regularly
• Renewal of client contracts
• Upselling of new and beneficial products to the clients
• Responsible for organising and scheduling of deliveries and notifying all necessary people
• Microsoft Word and Excel skills

• Sales Experience essential
• Experience working towards targets
• Event Management experience preferred
• Experience of working in the hotel industry preferred
• Driving license and own vehicle needed (travel expenses paid)
• Computer literate
