Account Manager

Account Manager – Salary to £42,000 + Bonus (OTE £10,000) + Bens.

A leading and hugely successful User Experience Design and Development Digital Agency based in Shoreditch is looking for an experienced Digital Account Manager to join their dynamic team. This brand new role is part of a business wide growth program and will involve working with some of the UKs biggest and most recognised consumer brands. The agency has targeted strong growth potential for 2015 and beyond.

The Account Manager role is designed to deepen relationships with existing clients and to build and develop new client relationships. The individual filling the role will be targeted on achieving set revenue targets. It is likely that the successful candidate will assume some responsibility for staff within a short period of time and there is significant scope for career development.

Account Management and Business Development experience, including a successful sales track record is essential. You will ideally already be experienced with the Digital environment and have a good understanding of processes and good practise within the Digital industry.

The role:

Generating and developing a sales pipeline to meet quarterly sales targets from existing and new clients;

Working with the Account Director and Business Development team to build and develop relationships with existing and new Clients;

Developing proposals for new business opportunities across a range of projects including design, development and consultancy;

The ability to capture the Clients’ requirements and to communicate these requirements internally for proposal generation and briefing of the creative and development teams;

Develop and maintain an understanding of our Client’s business, their customers and market context;

A keen user of technology with an understanding of how it can enhance a user interaction with brands;

The Individual:

Previous experience working across UX design, and both front-end and server side development projects;

At least two years’ experience gained ideally in an agency environment (currently working as an Account exec/Manager);

Has ideally been involved in pitching and presenting to new and existing clients;

Has led or supported written proposals /statements of work following client briefing;

Can do attitude with a strong sense of initiative, with the ability to understand other people’s opinions and be sympathetic to these;
