Our client who is an award-winning PR agency in London are looking for an experienced PR Account Manager to join their team.

As a PR Account Manager, you will lead a team and be responsible for a number of client accounts.

You should be a capable and confident operator who has a thorough understanding of the required media and communication skills and who is fully in control of the media tools available to create the required media coverage in all PR areas.

The role should be to carry out the execution of the strategies and activities of the business, ensuring that programmes and objectives are being adhered to, and that you delight their clients through excellence of delivery.

Your role as a PR Account Manager

· Lead and manage client accounts

· Measure success of PR deliver and report to clients on progress

· Establish a broad range of media contracts and be expert in Tier1 pitching and written communication

· Manage a team of Senior / Account Executives by setting objectives

· Writing coherent and factually accurate press releases that only require exceptional amends from seniors and clients.

· Complete understanding of how the media works in the particular areas in which you operate – the opportunities available and building relationships with journalists etc.

· To lead meetings. Ensuring that preparation for the meeting is well organised and that account directors or seniors are fully briefed on meeting contents.

· Have a full understanding of financial controls on all accounts, mark-up rules and budgeting procedures.

Skills Required

· Previous experience in a recognised B2B Tech PR agency

· Proven pitching capability and extensive media contacts

· Must be an excellent planner and be organised

· Business development exposure

· Team management experience

· Writing capability

Desirable

· Degree qualified

· Foreign language capability
