Account Handler

Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year

An experienced Commercial Account Handler is required by a growing International Broker to deal with its Commercial Clients.

This experienced team is very successful and the business is continuing to grow. The opportunity is due to retirement so you would be moving into an established team – and supporting some great Account Execs and a wide variety of Clients.

You will have an enthusiastic client focused approach, a strong technical Insurance background and enjoy speaking to Clients.

Our Client is operating successfully on a hybrid working basis so you can spend time in both their office and working from home.

To be successful in this Senior Commercial Account Handler role you will demonstrate:

• All round Commercial insurance experience with knowledge across a range of classes of business
• A desire to develop strong client and insurer relationships
• Confident negotiation skills
• The ability to support colleagues in a close team environment
• Excellent organisational skills

Areas of responsibility of this Senior Commercial Account Handler role include:

• Placing multi-class programmes of insurance for a portfolio clients
• Ensuring the adequacy and appropriateness of cover
• Checking the accuracy of policy documentation
• Resolving client enquiries in a friendly, professional and timely manner
• Undertaking renewal broking exercises on behalf of your clients
• Liaising with the Account Executives
• Developing and maintaining strong client and insurer relationships
• Occasional client visits in support of the Account Executive
