3rd Line Support Engineer

Our client a leading retailer is looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their team. With sales soaring at an impressive rate and with an ambitious growth plan for 2014 this position offers an excellent opportunity to for the 3rd Line Support Engineer develop. The 3rd Line Support Engineer role is focused around high quality support all staff members and day-to-day management of the existing network & infrastructure.

As the successful 3rd Line Support Engineer your key skills will include:
* Experience of supporting a multi-site IT network infrastructure
* Substantial experience of Microsoft Office and associated products, preferably on a Remote Desktop Services platform
* Experience of supporting a corporate database/information systems, exposure to SAP desirable
* Experience of troubleshooting servers issues
* Working for a retail organisation

As the 3rd Line Support Engineer your responsibilities will include:
* To be the first point of contact for users experiencing IT related problems
* To log and fix reported problems. If necessary, escalate to the Technical Services Manager
* To fix user problems associated with current Microsoft Windows operating systems, Remote Desktops Services, current Microsoft Office suite SAP systems
* To provide support to on-site clients and those accessing the network over a Wide Area Network
* To work in conjunction with the Technical Services Manager and HR Advisor to support users in receiving adequate IT training
