Our client, a leading not-for profit organisation in the healthcare sector. Is looking for a 3rd Line IT Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new IT systems and services
• Develop business justification cases for implementation of new systems
• Design test and implement efficient and cost-effective IT systems
• Research the benefits of technologies and provide recommendations
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure standards are met
• Consult with members of staff to understand their IT requirements
• Work on projects requiring specialised technical knowledge
• Provide support and training
• Enhance current IT systems
• Assess, manage, and maintain recovery plans to ensure systems are resilient
• Other duties as deemed reasonable

Person Specification:

• Full driving license
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience managing IT systems
• Strong knowledge and experience of infrastructure technology
• Excellent, problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
