2nd Line Support – Networks

McGregor Boyall are currently recruiting for a 2nd Line Support Analyst (Networks) to work with one of our leading media and entertainment ecommerce clients based in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who would like to join a progressive, fast growing company who work with the latest technologies.

As a 2nd Line Support Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Cisco Network and resolving incidents, conducting root cause analysis and completion of change requests.

As a 2nd Line Support Analyst (Networks) you will:

Possess a strong understanding of IT Networks infrastructure

Have a broad technical background in Network and/or Security, specifically Cisco Technologies, Juniper (LAN/WAN) and Firewalls

Have the ability to resolve incidents in the Network environment

Have experience across a broad range of infrastructure, including: IT Systems (windows, MSSQl, Linux, BIG IP F5, Cisco ASA)

Be well experienced in IT support covering desktop, file and print services (Office 365)

Excellent organisational skills – approaching tasks methodically

Able to work under pressure

Good communication skills, both internal and customer facing

Experience in the following areas would be highly advantageous:

Working knowledge of security practices, ideally PCI-DSS and ISO27001

CCNA or CISSP accreditation

Exposure to scrum agile and devops practices

Knowledge of open source tools
