2nd Line Desktop Support Analyst – London – up to £42k DOE
Our client, based in London, is currently looking to recruit a 2nd Line Desktop Support Analystto their busy and expanding team on a permanent basis. This successful 2nd Line Desktop Support Analyst will have experience of acting as the first point of contact for users and supporting Microsoft technologies up to a 2nd line level including Windows 7, Server 2012R2, Exchange and Office 365.

Key responsibilities for the 2nd Line Desktop Support Analyst:
- Working with ticketing system, logging initial calls/emails and walk ups
- Troubleshooting issues at a 2nd line level including Windows Servers 2012R2, Windows 7, Active Directory, Office 365
- Some more complex work such as server updates, patching and building servers
- You will be utilising remote access technologies and dealing with issues through walk ups and over the phone
- Involvement in project work such as migrations and upgrades
- Supporting up to 500 users
- Working in a fast paced, pressurised environment to strict SLAs and timescales
Key skills and experience for the 2nd Line Desktop Support Analyst:
- Must have a Microsoft certification such as MCP or similar
- Must be well versed in Microsoft and Windows technologies
- 1st and 2nd line support experience
- Must be team focused
- Understanding of ITIL best practices
