An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a fantastic company based in London.

As a 2nd Line Support Engineer you Must hold atleast one of the following or other similar accreditations

*CompTIA A
*CompTIA Network +
*MCP
*MCSA/MCSE

QUALIFICATIONS GCSE or Equivalent

My client is also looking for experience in the following technologies:

*HP/Dell Hardware PC/Laptops
*Network – CISCO/HP
*Telephone – CISCO/Avaya
*Android/IOS/Windows Phone/Blackberry
*Windows 7
*Windows Server OS technologies
*NAS and Storage devices
*Market Data Applications

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS for a 2nd Line Support Analyst
*Previous sector experience in an IT support role.
*Understanding the importance of business processes procedures and compliance.
*Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
*Excellent proven customer support skills
*Networking fundamentals
*Good all round understanding of hardware maintenance/break-fix
*Data replication and backup experience
*Experience of HDD Imaging and destruction

We need someone who is dedicated to end user computing, loves interacting with users, someone that enjoys assisting and resolving IT issues on a daily basis. 90% of the support calls are resolved by remote support and with dedicated support tools.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB for a 2nd Line support Analyst

*Provide technical assistance and end user support to all employees regarding Windows platforms in an enterprise environment.
*Serves as technology expert on current supported devices.
*Provide solutions and support to customers in a quick and timely manner.
*Handles support calls for different technologies.
*Participate in Ad-hoc project support and deployment work.
*Contribute to onsite documentation, processes and procedures.
*To review workloads and priorities to ensure prompt completion of tasks to a high standard in accordance with organizational policies and guidance.

There is a shift pattern, earlies, mid’s and lates although the latest you would finish would be 6pm and this is a Monday-Friday position.
8am to 4:30pm
9 to 5:30pm
9:30 to 6pm
