1st & 2nd Line Support IT Technician

Salary: £33,000 per year

I am currently working with a company based in Wigan who are actively looking for an experienced IT Support Technician, who has experience handling 1st & 2nd Line support enquiries.

The role will be based from my clients office in Wigan, and would involve one to two potential site visits monthly across some of my clients other sites in the UK (expenses covered)

The job will involve but will not be limited to:

• Owning & resolving incidents which can be resolved
• Providing remote & telephone support to end users
• Providing technical support for all ICT systems & employees
• Escalating incidents to appropriate internal more experienced technicians for 3rd line and external vendor issues
• Providing 1st & 2nd line diagnosis and questioning
• Installing systems 
• Scheduling/Applying upgrades & updates to hardware and software systems
• implementing new system roll outs
• Keeping asset and issue tracking systems up to date
• Troubleshooting in a timely manner.

In return this company are offering a starting salary up to £33,000depending upon expeirence. 

To be considered I am looking for candidates with a minimum of two years experience within 2nd line IT Support, and who can ideally drive.

The role is full time hours Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
