You will be working for…

In this job you will…
– Provide 1st line technical support; answering support queries via phone and email
– Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and to manage his or her calls
– Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues
– Log all calls on the call logging system in good readable quality
– Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
– Allocate more complex calls to the 2nd line IT Support

The 1st Line Support Analyst is accountable for the high level of customer service and client satisfaction that customers require from the Managed Services division. The individual must proactively manage and prioritise their workload as well as assist and develop a positive working relationship with fellow team members and staff and customers.

Your training will…
Start with a 12-14 month IT apprenticeship, which consists of training in small groups and work based assessment covering: Operating systems, Server administration, Customer support, Networking and Security.

You will gain City & Guilds Level 3 qualifications in IT Systems & Principles and IT Professional Competence, as well as Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) qualifications. This fantastic opportunity can potentially lead to you earning £30k in the IT sector.

– Someone who has an understanding of Microsoft technologies
– Someone who not only has a ‘can do’ but an ‘over and above’ attitude, to professional standards, working practises and a willingness to see work through to its completion
– Someone who has a willingness to learn and develop new skills
– Someone who ideally has 5 GCSE’S ( C grade and above) including English and Maths
