1st-2nd Line Support / Technical Support Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a IT Helpdesk Support person to develop a career in a well established company who provide IT support to small-Medium sized businesses in the London.

You will have the opportunity and exposure of working with a varied customer base, providing a range of support services. The organisation provide remote support by various methods; Telephone, NetSupport Manager, Teamviewer, Join.me, Remote Desktop and Remote Control, you will be provided with training on these but some knowledge will be advantageous.

We are looking for an experienced Helpdesk Operator, who is confident to troubleshoot computer issues methodically with clear verbal communication skills. You will have some technical knowledge and server experience would be a bonus but not essential. This is a great chance to develop your technical skills and knowledge within a friendly team.

You must have the following:

  • Extensive hands-on experience specifying/configuring/troubleshooting userand customer issues in Windows Desktop and Server environments
  • Extensive experience of supporting and administrating Office 2003-2013, Windows XP-8, Windows Server and Active Directory 2003-12, and Exchange 2003-2013
  • Experience with remote support
  • Working knowledge of Backup strategies, technologies, tape rotation and restore procedures
  • Working knowledge of firewalls and network infrastructure
  • Sound Networking knowledge of TCP/IP
  • Understanding of MAC OS
  • Understanding of Citrix, Exchange, VMWare
  • Good Experience of Blackberry Enterprise Products
  • Must have strong communication skills.
