2nd Line Support Engineer with several years experience providing Windows Server and Network support required for an IT Services provider based nr. Farringdon Station, Central London.

Role: 2nd Line Support Engineer

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per annum

Location: Central London (nr. Farringdon)

Candidate Profile

In order to achieve the role requirements, the successful candidate should have most of the following experience and qualities listed below:

  • Industry experience, and/or with a long standing interest in IT and associated subjects. Good understanding of the principles of IT, including network and computer design
  • Relevant Industry certifications
  • Experience installing and supporting Windows Server
  • Experience supporting and administering Exchange Server
  • Experience supporting a Citrix environment (any installation or configuration experience would be beneficial)
  • Impressive customer facing skills, including the ability to communicate comfortably in written or verbal form
  • Keen interest in keeping abreast of technology developments coupled with a sound understanding of the practical application of technology to business requirements
  • Patient and methodical approach to dealing with IT issues, along with client expectations
  • Experienced in multi-tasking
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Proven track record in providing support for small to medium sized companies (a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service is required, and with proven examples of delivering service in different forms)
  • Solid academic background preferable, plus evidence that they strive to excel in all they do
