We are working with a reputable in the Bolton area who have a requirement for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with speech, language and communication needs, as well as underlying attention issues. You will assist the pupil throughout the school day to various lessons. It is essential that you have a good understanding of the national curriculum and can conidently manage challenging behaviour.

• Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 (NVQ or CACHE certificate)
• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
• Have previous experience working with pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Have at least 6 months school based experience of working in a UK Secondary school setting.
• Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
