Business Development Manager – Advertising Solutions

As Business Development Manager (BDM) you’ll be part of The Advertising Solutions (AS) division, which, if they had to sum it up: offers employers a holistic solution to target and attract the right talent for their business with the products we have to offer. Basically, they make their hiring lives easier, and we do it well.
What will You be doing?
You’ll be responsible for building relationships, generating new business enquiries, and ensuring the Advertising Services product portfolio has a healthy pipeline of potential customers.
By delivering outbound b2b business development activity, you’ll successfully build strong relationships, which not only result in the conversion of prospects to engaged clients* but also gives them the feedback to continuously refine and improve their product portfolio.
Your main tasks:
To give you an idea of what your day-to-day could look like:
- Generate and secure new business opportunities and achieve the monthly revenue target set by the Head of Sales.
- Manage, maintain and develop a consistent pipeline of deals in line with the graduate recruitment cycle.
- Build firm relationships with prospective & existing clients.
- Providing trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Ensuring your knowledge and understanding of their product portfolio is at the heart of all communications.
- To keep well informed and up to date with industry news, competitors and the market to ensure a good level of communication awareness at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up to date completion of administration tasks and duties as required and agreed by the company.
- Communicate accurate and pertinent information to relevant departments, teams and clients as appropriate.
- Represent the business in a professional manner and to adhere to agreed sales standards internally and externally.

Key Skills and Experience:
- selling a B2B product portfolio.
- Good negotiation, listening and closing skills.
- Accurate forecasting of sales revenue and working diligently to meet this.
- Confidence in pitching and proposing client-led solutions to win new business contracts.
- The ability to build trust and rapport with potential prospects and customers.
- Great communication across all channels such as phone, email or LinkedIn.
- The ability to stay motivated throughout
- Strategic thinking and the drive to have an impact on the business to help all the brands grow and achieve their goals.
- The ability to work collaboratively and flexibly to ensure overall business goals are met.

- A proven track record of business-to-business sales within the recruitment industry.
- Knowledge of the graduate recruitment market.
- A keen interest in helping businesses bring top graduate talent into their businesses.
