Vehicle Inspector / Estimator

This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of ambition personnel who are acting as an employment agency.

We are currently recruiting for one of our clients based on the outskirts of Newark. Duties of the role include: all aspects of vehicle inspections, conducting full interior and exterior assessments on all types of cars and light commercials, identifying damage, attaching the appropriate costs, repair methods and quality control.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Excellent eye for detail would be desirable as often the candidate will be expected to identify and report on vehicles that have experienced previous repairs.
• Good Information Technology (I.T) skills would also be required as all in house inspections are undertaken using bespoke hand held touch screen devices.
• Served a Motor Industry type apprentice or recognised equivalent
• The ability to work unsupervised as well as within a well-established team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible attitude to overtime and working hours
