Salary: £42,000 – £60,000 per year
This is an outstanding opportunity to produce technical BMS quotes for smart buildings projects in London’s luxury residential and hospitality sectors.
The Position:
The appointed Estimator will take responsibility for:
* Responding to tenders in a timely and efficient manner
* Producing technical quotes to help win high-end residential and hospitality projects
* Ensuring that all quotes are delivered on time and are commercially accurate
* Involvement in design, programming and project management
* Providing all technical elements including priced bill of materials and scope of works
* Production of project deliverables, specifications, reports, solution brief
The Candidate:
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
* A minimum of three years BMS estimating experience within the high-end residential and/or hospitality sectors
* The ability to write detailed building management system quotes and estimates
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* A network of contacts among contractors, building owners, property managers, architects and/or specifiers
* Strong knowledge of building automation controls, ideally Tridium
* A willingness to travel frequently
