Salary: £72,000 – £84,000 per year
Summary:
An Oxfordshire based technical solutions provider are looking for a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join their team in a team lead position. There is wider responsibility for networking and database optimisation in this integral role that sits at the heart of the organisation and its client offerings. This position may suit a network engineer or DevOps professional.

Founded over 10 years ago, they have grown across Europe and through multiple technology channels, they are taking the lead in cloud based solutions, specialised telecoms, mobile and security. Innovation, Research and Development keep them ahead of their competitors.
Role and Responsibilities:
*Act as the operations lead with close interaction with R&D team members ensuring all product creation fits seamlessly into both central and client systems.
*Ensure Database optimisation for unique challenges created by user systems.
*Oversee network security and systems patching.
*Create build standards to be used across the organisation
*Collaborate with fellow team leads to ensure end-to-end design and implementation
Essential Skills:
*Proven Linux Systems Administration Skills
*Database optimisation, design, performance and availability
*Virtualisation (Xen, Vmware)
*Network Security
