Systems Administrator – Windows/ Virtualisation – Permanent – Glasgow -Circa £25K

Abrecco wish to recruit an experienced Systems Administrator for our prestigious client based North of Glasgow. We are looking for a candidate with a strong desire for learning and honing their IT Infrastructure skills. You will be reporting directly to the Head of IT and be an essential cog within this organisation developing and enhancing the use of IT systems to improve efficiency. To be considered for this role you will have:

Essential:

– Degree or equivalent experience in IT
– Windows 7,10 and Office 2013, 2016 support
– Microsoft Hyper V
– Microsoft Server 2008 R2, 2012
– SQL Server 2008, 2012
– Understanding of Network configuration and management
– Knowledge of Firewall configuration and management
– Active Directory
– Be able to drive and have access to a car

Desirable:

– MCSA
– CCNA
– Office 365 including SharePoint
– PCI Compliance
– Windows Update Services
– Server and Network security
– VPN and WAN Management
– Phone System Support
