Salary: £30,992 – £37,200 per year

We are currently recruiting a Production line supervisor for our client based in Shaftesbury.

As a Production Line Supervisor your role is to ensure the smooth running of the production line and the leadership of the packing teams to ensure that the required daily targets are met, and the quality of the products we’re producing meet and exceed our customer expectations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meeting all daily targets that are set by management
  • Managing your team effectively to get the targets completed
  • Keeping your work area clean & tidy after each job and at the end of each day
  • Applying good people management and organising your team effectively to get better productivity out of your staff
  • Undertake accurate job costings to every job that you are set
  • Completing production books carefully and accurately each day
  • Assess the quality of all products to be sure they are of the highest standard
  • Carrying out checks and completing BRC paperwork for the following:
  • Personal Hygiene checks
  • Daily Production checks
  • Glass and hard brittle plastic checks
  • Case Knife & Scissor Control Logs
  • Plaster Issue & Monitoring Logs
  • Helping in all areas of the warehouse as needed
  • Preparation of premises for next day’s work.

  • We require you to take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other people at work, who may be affected by your acts or omissions. This extends to co-operating to enable the employer to fulfill its legal duty.

FOOD HYGIENE (BRC):

  • Follow the internal procedures that form the quality management system to ensure product safety, legality, quality, and integrity.
  • Report any evidence of product safety, legality, quality, or integrity to a manager.
  • Ensure a good level of cleanliness is maintained – clean as you go.
  • Follow the allergen control procedure to avoid any cross-contamination.
  • Ensure relevant paperwork is completed in full and is clearly legible.
  • Maintain a good level of personal hygiene and wear the relevant protective clothing.

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 (Must have flexibility in peak season)
