A Clinical and Health Care Waste Management Company, operating throughout the UK.

The Position
We are currently searching for an Account Manager from the healthcare/clinical waste management sector to be based from home working the North East Area. Your main responsibility as an Account Manager within our clients health/clinical waste department is to build and maintain key business relationships and accounts within the division and to provide technical waste expertise and guidance.
Some of your specific tasks within the role will be:
· Proactively engage with non – NHS organisations to increase waste volumes in to the regions disposal facilities
· Provide customers with regular reports on Account performance in line with internal and Customer KPIs
· Build effective relationships with new and existing key business contacts within Healthcare sector, with a view to developing long term customer relationships to grow individual account portfolios
· Identify opportunities to upsell training, e-learning and other services to existing clients
· Regular monitoring and auditing to ensure that existing waste legislation; policies and procedures are being adhered to.
· Advise Customers of incoming legislative changes to ensure compliance.

Person Specification
We are looking for an Account Manager from a clinical/Healthcare Waste Management Background. It is essential that candidates have a strong understanding of the waste management industry, in specific the healthcare, clinical and hazardous waste sector. We require an Account Manager with at least 2-3 years minimum experience in accounts.

We are looking for the following skills within candidates wishing to be considered for this position:
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, especially Word and Excel
· Knowledge of waste handling practises
· Attention to detail
