Biofill Production Supervisor

We are currently looking for a Biofill Production Supervisor to join a Global Pharmaceutical business based in North Wales. As the Biofill Production Supervisor you will provide support to the Biofill Production Manager by supervising the day to day running of the Production Section and to deputise as required.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Biofill Production Supervisor will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as following:

1. Plan the effective use of resource and equipment to ensure that production targets are met. Ensure that the day to day activities involved in the manufacturing and filling of final product are completed in accordance with the production schedule.

2. Ensure that all documentation are current, reflective, and meet both cGMP and Health and Safety standards. Equipment and personnel will also remain in a constant state of audit readiness.

3. Liaise between various functions to ensure production targets are achieved by developing relationships and communications with other departments and external sources.

4. To make and take pertinent decisions regarding product manufacture during out of hours and where necessary consulting the appropriate sources.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Biofill Production Supervisor we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Qualified to HNC, HND or degree standard, ideally within a scientific discipline or similar.

2. Proven industry experience of small scale manufacture / pilot plant manufacture within a cGMP compliant pharmaceutical organisation. Experience working with aseptic filling and freeze drying processes is desirable.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with FDA and MHRA regulations.
