Asbestos Surveyor – P402 – South East

Our client is a UKAS accredited asbestos company providing numerous professional services to clients across the UK and due to present state of the business, they are looking for a conscientious and hardworking Asbestos Analyst to work on numerous contracts in and around the South East area and will include applications from London, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The individual must possess the P403/P404 certificate or the equivalent – RSPH qualification and must have extensive experience working within this role and within the asbestos industry.

Will be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearance, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.

Overseeing contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere with the Health and Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.

Carrying out site audits, reviewing of method statements, management of contractors and client liaison work.

Producing comprehensive reports as and when required.

Requirements/Attributes:

The successful candidate will be versatile, flexible, have good work ethic and at the same time have the ability to multi-task, work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Will have good communication, people and client facing skills.

Must be prepared to travel.
