Salary: £60,000 – £72,000 per year

My client provides Information Management Services and Solutions across the Defence, Energy & Utilities sectors. These solutions maximise the utility of data and provide decision making insight across client organisations.

Due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit a Project Manager (Submarine IKM) to manage the interface between the End User communities. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the Submarine End User community is supported in all Enterprise wide process improvements and requests for help in accordance with agreed contract requirements and to meet my client’s objectives for revenue growth.

Principal Tasks and Responsibilities will include:

Project Manage all elements of the Submarine Information & Knowledge Management (IKM) domain and deliver tasks to time, cost and quality. This will include the management and update of a Master Schedule Programme and Resource Plan for the Submarine business area.
To act as the principal point of contact with senior members of the Submarine Information Programme Board & Change Board and interface with the End Users communities.
Responsible for the business development of all submarine opportunities and manage the creation of all Submarine related prospects through the User Requirement definition, business case, cost model production and bid submission phases.
Responsible for the delivery of all submarine tasks to budget and production of the cost to complete for all submarine tasks.
To manage the Submarine IKM elements of the MSDF, including controlling the Change Board Continuous Improvement budget, the raising of new TAFs, aiding the Commercial Team in raising new contract amendments and ensuring that payment recovery is undertaken for key Customer Points of Contact when required.
To co-ordinate compilation and attend all of the User Working Groups.
Act as focal point for Customer compliments, concerns and observations raised against Business Systems. This shall include the logging, co-ordination of applicable responses and reporting at the respective Business Systems Quality Assurance meetings.
Prepare, organise and conduct presentations to the Submarine User community to support the Business Systems Customer Support Manager as and when required.
Responsible for the line management of the IKM Senior Project and Programme Engineer co-ordinating their day-to-day workload and future development within the Team.Due to the nature of my clients business this role is subject to National Security conditions governed by the MoD.
